Welcome

A friend suggested that I start a blog to display some of the pictures I've taken. I got my first camera (a Kodak Instamatic) in 1968, and I've taken thousands of pictures since then. One thing I've learned about photography in that time is that if you take enough pictures, some of them will turn out looking as nice as you wish they all would. I'm planning to use this blog to display some of the ones that I like best, sometimes because they remind me of the places I've been or sometimes because I just like the way they turned out. If you've stumbled across this space, I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.
